Sunday, September 25th – 6 to 9 pm
Base Lounge – 1303 Broad Street
Vince Gowmon, of Spirit Voice and Remembering to Play in Vancouver, will return to Victoria to lead us in simple mantras sung in English and Sanskrit (the ancient language of India). The mantras are sung in the style of kirtan, the sacred devotional music tradition originating from India. They are repeated over and over, faster and faster, calling upon sacred energies which serve to remove obstacles, bring us back to the center of our being and into an experience of freedom from the daily chatter of the mind.
Tickets $20 in advance, $25 at door (limited)
